Date: 1/18/2008 By: Rob Gosnell Affiliations #AZH0022 VOSHA is USA Hockey affiliated   Competitive "B" Program This program will feature a opportunity for players to be selected for participation in a specialized competitive "B" program. This program will be open to players Valley wide who wish to participate in a program that will assist them in transitioning from a recreational "house" program to a higher level competitive program. Each team will receive 2 hours of ice time per week beginning the first week of September 8 and continuing through April for a total of over 80 hours of ice.   Competitive "A" Program This program is designed for players who have the desire and ability to play at a challenging level of competition. Each team will receive 3 hours of ice time per week, 1 half-ice slot and 2 full-ice session per week. (may vary by division) Program Features: Players selected based on tryouts in the spring and fall Players receive over 100 total ice slots Sonoran Hockey League "A" program The Canyon States Tournament Series will be hosted at Arcadia Ice Arena for 8 additional games Each team will consist of no more than 17 players Players participate under the VOSHA "Fair" play policy Each participant will receive a VOSHA home/away jersey and matching socks Each participant will receive VOSHA team warm-up Program Fee: dependant upon ice usage (may vary by division) Competitive "AA" Program This program is designed for players who have the desire and ability to play at a challenging level of competition.
