The Valley of the Sun Hockey Association exists in order to provide children with the opportunity to participate in a FUN, well organized, comprehensive, ice hockey training program that focuses on the development of each athlete and provides the best possible experience for all participants. Our Program Objectives:

  • To provide an opportunity for new players to participate.
  • To provide a fair and equal opportunity to participate.
  • To provide children with the opportunity to learn the basic skills without the distractions associated with an over emphasis on winning.
  • To provide an opportunity for those who have the ability and desire, to advance into a more competitive environment.
  • To provide a FUN, positive and safe environment for all youth under the direction of qualified adult leadership.

VOSHA Board Meetings

Next VOSHA Board Meeting:  Tuesday, October 11th, 5:30pm

Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm, on the patio at the Icehouse Tavern. 

If you have an item to present to the VOSHA Board of Directors, it should be added to the agenda.  Please submit a request to the Board Secretary at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.  Otherwise, your item will be handled under "new business", time permitting, at the end of the meeting.

We need your input.  Everyone is welcome!  

 

VOSHA and DYHA have joined forces to create the best Hockey in the valley

  • ADM program for Mites, Squirts, Peewee
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "B" level.
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "A" level.
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "AA" and Tier II levels.
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "AAA" and Tier I levels.

Travel Hockey shouldn't mean that you must travel out of the state of Arizona to play competitive hockey games. It means that you play games against competitive travel hockey teams,,  HERE IN PHOENIX.  VOSHA is proud to be an active part of building youth hockey programs in ARIZONA for more than 20 years! VOSHA will be offering its membership THE BEST ice times in PHOENIX.
