VOSHA BOARD MEETINGS

Anyone wishing to present an item to the Board at a monthly meeting must send a request to the Secretary of the Board at least 72 hours prior to the meeting. Request should include topic to be addressed and approximate amount of time needed to speak. If you do not advise the Board of your intent to be heard at least 72 hours prior to the meeting, you will be recognized under new business at the end of the meeting, if time permits.

Tryouts & Registration

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2010-11 Season Try-Outs.  If you have not been offered a position on a team and would like to be considered please contact the coach of the team that you are interested in.

VOSHA's Goals


The Valley of the Sun Hockey Association exists in order to provide children with the opportunity to participate in a FUN, well organized, comprehensive, ice hockey training program that focuses on the development of each athlete and provides the best possible experience for all participants. Our Program Objectives:
  • To provide an opportunity for new players to participate.
  • To provide a fair and equal opportunity to participate.
  • To provide children with the opportunity to learn the basic skills without the distractions associated with an over emphasis on winning.
  • To provide an opportunity for those who have the ability and desire, to advance into a more competitive environment.
  • To provide a FUN, positive and safe environment for all youth under the direction of qualified adult leadership.

VOSHA Programs 2010-11

  • ADM program for Mites
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "B" level.
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "A" level.
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "AA" and Tier II levels.
  • Competitive "Travel" program at the "AAA" and Tier I levels.
Travel Hockey shouldn't mean that you must travel out of the state of Arizona to play competitive hockey games. It means that you play games against competitive travel hockey teams, HERE IN PHOENIX.  VOSHA is proud to be an active part of building youth hockey programs in ARIZONA for the past 14 years! VOSHA will be offering its membership THE BEST ice times in PHOENIX.
